Corrosion Resistant Disc Springs: X7CrNiAl 17 7
This standard range of stainless steel disc springs are manufactured from X7CrNiAl 17 7 (DIN 1.4568) at thicknesses from 1.25mm.
X7CrNiAl 17 7 to DIN 17 224 is a precipitation-hardened, corrosion resistant spring steel. It obtains its strength from cold rolling and precipitation hardening.
This material is strongly magnetic and cold working increases this further.
Disc springs can also be manufactured from other stainless steels types, please see the current disc spring materials table for possible options. Please contact us if you have applications that may require the use of even more exotic materials.
